♢Peanut and Sesame Seeds Cookies♢

Peanut Butter is Nat's favourite.
She can have at least a few slices of peanut butter bread in a day and everyday...
This is one cookie she fancied as well... :-D

These cookies are crunchy and I personally feel that there are a little too dry but nonetheless, the aroma of peanut butter and sesame seeds somehow override the dryness.

The girls helped out and they had fun shaping the dough into a small little ball and flattened them.
1 portion of this recipe could yield about 40~ cookies, depending on the size of your desired shapes.

If you like these crunchy dry cookies, a peanut butter lover, you might wanna try these cookies.

Recipe as adapted from:
Baking with Natural Ingredients
by Chef Alan Kok

Ingredients:
(With slight modifications)
70g butter
70g icing sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
120g crunchy peanut butter (I used peanut butter)
2 tbsp black sesame seeds, toasted
200g plain flour (I used top flour)
1/2 tsp baking powder

Method:
• In a mixing bowl, cream butter & icing sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and mix well.
• Add in the remaining ingredients and mix into a dough.
• Divide dough into small little portions and shape into small balls. Place onto a baking tray and flatten slightly.
• Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 12~15mins or until golden brown.
• Remove and leave to cool before storing.
